So relatable! I have my own version of The Beast. I call her The Kansas Bitch - a leftover demanding part of me from my upbringing that expects everyone to do their god damn job.

I love how when I (we) can back down, see the lesson, and let some light in the Universe drops a gift with a little cosmic humor. Like your bonus prize shoes discovered at just the right time to say "good job being kind."
