Yesterday I read an email from politician Bernie Sanders who is pushing a 4 day work week. He points out that US workers are more than 400% more productive due to technology since 1940, but work longer and for less pay per week adjusted for inflation. Even worse, CEO's make 400 times salary of the average worker. Disgusting. Why the hell does anyone need so much money? They don't work 400 times longer or harder than other people!

I'm taking a retreat in a few days. I'm exhausted, and lucky as hell that I have the ability to check out and take care of myself. But it will make me better at my job helping others and teaching them how to help themselves.
